The Sheffield Open Heart Club aims to
- support, counsel and advise cardiac patients prior to heart surgery in the Chesterman Wards of the Northern General Hospital, Sheffield.
- to assist patients in their recovery after operation/s.
- to be available for their relatives and friends requiring support and information throughout the process.
Patients are invited to join SHOC after leaving hospital, with newsletters and social events (open to relatives and friends as well).
